SUCESS STORY

An Ordered and Automatic Flow of Funds

Nutrifrost is a company that processes frozen vegetables. Agustín Garay, its general manager, contacted us because he hada filefor the management of cash flow and control of expenses and income that he had inherited from his predecessor in office difficult to use and understand. It was not very friendly: its structure was complex and the file contained a lot of irrelevant information from previous exercises that made it difficult to find the answers to the questions that, in principle, it had to answer. Besides,a lot of data had to be

Start

The first stage of the work was to agree on what was important to maintain and what was not. We defined that the horizon was a single fiscal year (plus 3 months from the following one in order to have an additional quarter of projections when the end of the fiscal year approaches). We agreed to open the business units and redefined the chart of accounts, adapting it to the current situation.

Second Stage
The second stage was the creation of a new spreadsheet based on all these definitions. Validation options were used for the greatest consistency of the information, a well-defined color code, cross checks that allow us to know that there is no missing data, and we automated the reading of bank statements using date formulas.

Result

The result was a file that is easy to locate data sections and results, flexible for the addition of future business units, quick to update when assumptions change, and reliable in results, as each result is perfectly traceable to from the formulas that generate it.

The next success story could be you.
